Blogging hasn't been on my mind lately as I've been writing and enjoying myself. Christmas has come and gone and its time for that annual event called the making of New Year's Resolutions. Yes I make them every year and seldom keep them.
I kept one of mine last year...I wanted to Write a Book. So in the spirit of keeping at least some of these resolutions I'm going to make some new ones.
1. Edit my book into submittable format and submit it to an agent or publisher...Success will be sending it off.
2. Write at least one more book....Nano 2008 should help me with that one as will the Tri Ms.
3. Take my writing seriously. Treat it like a job and engage in tasks that will help me advance my writing as a career goal...such as joining RWA and making a commitment to write as often as possible.
4. Exercise regularly....success will be exercising at least 3-4 times a week.
5. Read my bible more regularly...I may need to invest in some kind of bible study material, but to start with I'll just re-read Paul's letters.
6. Find a church...I want to attend church again, to be active in church again. I'm beginning to feel spiritually disconnected. Before my home church fell apart, it kept me really grounded. I would get the spirtual food from there, but I can't count on that anymore in that place of extreme tension...so I need to find some place that I feel comfortable where I live now.
Anyway...Those are my goals for the year.
