Brag On God Friday

Ok, I'm going to admit to you that this 'Brag on God Friday' is a bit--- weird. But weird in a good way. I believe that we should thank God for the big and the small. The small 'ordinary' things in life are just as much from God as the big ole exciting ones.

So, here we go...

My brag on God are these...

Can you see them? YES, that is the top of my head lol. Sorry about the rough shape of my hair. I just came home and let it loose. Do you see those gray hairs? If you can't, bless you! If you can, you are like me. I don't have a lot of them, but they do like to shine.

I'm 30 years old-- I don't think I'm old enough for gray hair lol

HOWEVER, every time I look in the mirror and see these silver threads shining, this verse comes to mine...

Proverbs 16:31
Gray hair is a crown of glory;it is gained by living a godly life.

SO, instead of trying to get upset over it, I'm embrassing the gray.

My Brag isn't entirely about the gray, but it is about God taking me to a place where I am ok with the gray. I remember my first gray hair... it was traumatic lol. But God has been good to me. God has allowed me to see that hair coloring doesn't like me ;). And God has shown me that hey He made gray hair just like he made blonde and red.

And of course... lest we not forget...

Proverbs 20:29
The glory of the young is their strength;the gray hair of experience is the splendor of the old.

I'm ok with being 'old'...

Embrace your gray hair, ladies. :)

Much Love,

Kelly
