Day 90-- of the Bible in 90 days :)

*Happy Dance! Happy Dance! Happy Dance!!!!*

I'm so sorry that I've dropped the ball when it came to blogging about my Bible in 90 Days journey. It wasn't my intention.
BUT, I wanted to share (officially) that today is a big celebration :) Today is October 8th-- 90 days from the beginning date which was July 11th.
I finished the Bible after 78 days :)
I learned so much with this program. SO much more than I thought I would reading the Bible at such a fast pace.
It was the first time I had ever read the Bible-- and I honestly can't wait to do it again.
Some things I learned...
*Revelations isn't such a scary book after all.
*Even Paul had problems with people listening to him.
*The Gospels are hard to read right after another (because they are so similar).
*The 'lesser prophets' books are some of my favorites.
*Judges is my favorite book (but I already knew that lol)
*There are more women prophets in the Bible than I thought.
*Orphah's entire life changed because Naomi had a bad day.
*If you are having a hard time praying, read/pray a Psalm.
*Song of Songs makes me blush.
*The Jerusalem kings were succeeded by bloodline-- the Judah kings were by murder (strangely they didn't stay kings for long lol).
*"Not a single person on earth is always good and never sins." (Ecc. 7:20)
*"Finishing is better than starting. Patience is better than pride." (Ecc. 7:8)
And so, so, so, so more! :)
I liked being accountable to read. I liked that I *had* to spend time daily reading God's word. And I'm looking forward to the next 90 day challenge :)
Much Love, Kelly
